LeapGrad is currently looking for an QA Engineer Intern to join our software development team as we look to continue providing cutting-edge tools and support to our development team. You will play a key role in resolving various front end bugs including cross compatibility amongst various browsers and operating systems. You would also be working with our existing web application and web codebases, developing new features and solutions, implementing an agile delivery (DevOps) pipeline, and delivering high-quality, testable code that delivers significant value.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimating, prioritising, planning and coordinating quality testing activities
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Monitor debugging process results
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Nice to Haves:

  • 1 year of Sanity Testing and Regression Testing
  • 1 year of experience with frontend development tools such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • 1 year of experience with Python
  • Some experience with Trello, Qase, and/or Asana (Optional)

Salary: From $26.75 per hour
